was very

enjoyable.  We

were able to shop

and sightsee while

we got to know our new

daughter.  People were

very friendly and the

adoption process went

quite smoothly.  At the

end of the week, we

packed up and

prepared for a

short plane ride to Guangzhou for

Tess' U.S.

visa.
